ANALECTS

Analects are a collection of miscellaneous writings, usually with a philosophical undertone. My analects are put together with a comment system to enable some external participation. I had established a wiki system in early 2007 but I have removed it due to vandalism. A new subsite is set to be online by September 2008.

The main subjects I deal with in my analects are the following:
- "culture générale" in its original Renaissance conception: general knowledge for the intellectual gentleman
- cosmopolitan ethics.

· Profile

This subsite is devoted to my professional self-promotion. In other words, potential employers shall find there different resources about my professional experience, and my overall potential. Collegues or partners will also be able to better assess my strengths and weaknesses.

For the time being, my profile is a long page with multilingual content ( French/English).

Some resources that can be found there are:
- a general introduction to who I am
- my curriculum vitae in a conventional one-size-fit-all format
- relatively extended explanations on my different professional experiences
- a review of my competencies, education, and interests.

· Lifeblog (Tanei)

Blogging as a couple is both easy and fun. Tanei started as a hygienic exercise to preserve us from stultification before taking a dynamics of its own.

The aims of this blog are:
- to stay in contact with our friends and family without having to email every single one of them twice a week when we haven't seen them for some time
- to get our friends and family to understand us better. Speaking for myself, I find that occasionally people who have known me for a long time seem to have missed a decade in my personal development. As for relatively recent friends (and newly acquired family members), they often lack the deep understanding of me that could make us really good friends. This subsite is in a way a means of saving time on these necessary processes.

My posts are presently always written in French, though we may begin blogging in English from time to time in the near future.

Our blogging routine is extremely regular. If there is a lack of posts, we are most probably having difficulties uploading them over the Internet...

MYSOURCE

The "MySource" subsite is a quoteable source text depository for firsthand personal accounts, observations, and factlets. It is currently offline and will be back on the net by September 2008.

This subsite can seem a bit strange or pretentious at first: I'm no scientist, no genius observer, and I don't have access to classified or otherwise restricted information. The explanation is in fact quite simple. I came to this through my activity as a Wikipedia contributor. I found out that I would often contribute without references because my sources were direct observation. Hopefully, I will develop some credentials in the matter, and my concept will prove successful.

My "mysource entries" are quite synthetic, and differentiate personal interpretations from objective facts and subjective experiences, so as maximize their usefulness. Most posts are either personal accounts (of historic or otherwise interesting events), observations (of social or scientific nature), and what I call "ideoseeds" -- basically random ideas that could be developed into arguments or theories, and insights lacking sufficient experimental proof).

The whole subsite is set to be a semi-private wiki: I write entries, visitors can comment on them constructively (interpretatation, concurring facts, etc), and users are invited to trackback on the material.

· Other / in development

-[80% probability] a private wiki about political philosophy, due to become semi-public once it's big enough
-[60% probability] a gallery system, with different public and private galleries
-[20% probability] "wikifactlets", a wiki promoting socially valuable information that leads to constructive criticism of the shortcomings of the global community and individual action.
